The Planning Division works under the Public Works and Development Department of the government of Arapahoe County, Colo. It oversees the orderly development of unincorporated areas, as well as supports the open space program. The division is also responsible for zoning code enforcement and mosquito and animal control programs. The Planning Division processes applications, designs guidelines, hears schedules, posts notices and presents comments at public hearings. Additionally, it plans policies and principles outlined in the county's comprehensive plan. The division is located in Centennial, Colo.
