Vail Christian High School (VCHS) is a co-ed private school of academic excellence which offers a four year college-preparatory program. The school opened in 1998 and began as a ministry of Gracious Savior Lutheran Church but later became independent to reflect its goal of serving the entire Vail Valley. Underlying the school in all its facets is the desire to develop and nurture the Christian faith of its students. Christian values are taught and shared in such a way that students see relevancy to their own lives. The hallmark of Vail Christians excellent reputation stems from its highly qualified and dedicated staff and faculty. Of the 26 administrators and faculty members at VCHS over 63% hold masters degrees. A teacher ratio of 1:15 allows the schools diverse faculty to provide individualized attention and a quality educational experience in a caring Christian environment. Vail Christian High School is accredited by AdvancED and holds memberships in the College Board and the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
