HistoryThe great garbage patches of the ocean, mainly plastics, are horrifying to think about, though once we know about something we have a responsibility to do something about it. The problems of the world seem at an all-time high and it is fatiguing to worry about everything. I decided to pick one crusade and make it my mission to put all my energy into a solution for this global issue. In January of 2018 I walked through my home with a pen and notepad and wrote down all the items that come in single use plastic containers. The list for 2 people and a cat was astounding. This was the moment I decided to offer a refilling station for my community, to help build awareness about our wasteful lifestyles. The time of convenient throw away items is over, and WeFill wants to keep the convenience without the plastic trash.SpecialtiesWeFill is a refilling station for household and personal care products which also offers alternatives for single-use plastic consumerism. Wefill's mission is to limit single-use plastic container consumerism by offering a refilling station for household products, which include bath and body, kitchen, and cleaning supplies. Customers will bring their empty containers, weigh them, fill them, and be charged by weight. WeFill will be a brick and mortar store with no online sales, reducing packaging and shipping wastes.
