History
We have been told that Sugarbush opened in the late 1940's as Round Rock Stop. There are an abundance of round rocks and guests would paint them. In the 1970's, at some point, new owners purchased the campground. The husband affectionately called his wife Sugarbush and thus the park was renamed. Sugarbush has hosted many guests through the years and it is still the same idllyic, small park in the Arkansas River Valley.
