HistoryJon has over 20 years of experience in shaping aircraft and automotive materials from the flat to all desired shapes. He apprenticed for Jaguar at the center of the automotive industry in England, in and around Coventry. He has also built cars for companies including Bentley, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, and Lotus. He then went to Osnabruck, Germany; projects included the phase 2 restyle of the Landrover Discovery and the new Volkswagon Beetle convertible at the Wolfsburg plant. The next stage took Jon to California, USA to a concept vehicle builder that supplied a majority of the cars for the Detroit Motor Show. Within that time he formed a business, The Metal Surgeon.SpecialtiesOur Denver restoration shop does work on classic cars, vintage cars, hot rods, street rods, trucks, muscle cars, European sports cars (Porsche, Ferrari, etc.), even bicycles and motorcycles.
