She earned her Physical Therapy Degree in 1994 and remained in Gainesville, Florida; working as the senior physical therapist in a bustling orthopedic/sports medicine clinic. She was eventually drawn back to the Rocky Mountains, moving to Boulder in 2002. She then opened her own patient-focused physical therapy clinic a year later. Although she has retired from competitive gymnastics, she is still faithful to the active lifestyle, getting her fix through many outdoor activities including; Ultimate Frisbee, soccer, mountain biking, rock climbing and grueling adventure races.
