HistoryGeorge Yost, President and founder, was growing tired of not being able to serve his current customers a great cup of coffee for an affordable price. So he started up his own coffee roasting company. Things were going fine for a few years, but he still wasn't getting the quality he wanted out of his coffee, so he decided to travel to Cameroon, Africa. From there he began working directly with over 100 African Coffee Farmers who grew coffee specifically for Alpine Roastery. By buying the coffee directly from the farmers, he was able to lower his customers price by increasing the quality.
