The Rural Communities Resource Center (RCRC) is a grassroots, nonprofit organization founded in 1984 by a small group of women in Northeast Colorado. Dedicated to breaking the isolation experienced by rural women and families, the RCRC provides advocacy, education, and support to promote the physical, emotional, and economic health of the area.
With offices in Yuma County and Washington County, the RCRC serves Yuma, Washington, and surrounding counties in rural, northeastern Colorado. Through their programs and services, they aim to fill the gaps in services that were missing, creating systems change and improving conditions for the communities they serve.
