Bijou School
Wasson High School, established in 1960, has an enrollment of more than 1,600 students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, economics, humanities, American history, science, and physical, health and computer education. The school provides advanced placement courses in oceanology, environmental sciences, culinary arts and interior design. The amenities offered by the school include a library and media center, an audio recording studio, science technology laboratory, multimedia classroom and a video production room. It provides various services to students, including financial aid, career counseling and educational scholarships. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include forensics, National Honor Society, science bowl, student council, photography and art and marketing clubs. Wasson High School is affiliated with Springs School District 11.
