Robin L. Schiesser, L.Ac., Dipl. OM, is a nationally board-certified and state licensed acupuncturist. She was trained in Oriental Medicine (acupuncture, herbal medicine and complementary modalities) at one of the nation's leading institutions--Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, California. She received highest honors when she graduated in 2002 with a masters degree in Oriental Medicine. The program comprised more than 2700 hours of instruction in acupuncture and herbal medicine as well as western biomedical studies. Her clinical internship included giving acupuncture treatments to patients at UCLA's Arthur Ashe Health Center, at the Cri Help Addiction Recovery Center and at Emperor's College community-based clinic. She was in private practice in Santa Monica before relocating to Boulder Colorado in April 2006.
