Paul Boone, MD, believes that as a physician, he is his patient's advocate. He is committed to providing medical guidance and recommendations in terms patients can understand while utilizing the least invasive and most up-to-date technology to address the patients neurosurgical needs. In addition to seeing patients with a variety of neurological conditions, Dr. Boone performs minimally invasive procedures, including lumbar spinal surgery and cervical artificial disc replacement. He specializes in treating chronic degenerative diseases and tumors of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal column including herniated discs, spinal stenosis and adult deformity. He also treats traumatic conditions of the spinal column including fractures, dislocations and peripheral nerve conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar neuropathy. His expertise includes treatment of primary and secondary brain tumors and hydrocephalus (including NPH).He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska and obtained his medical degree at University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed a surgical internship and neurosurgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His postdoctoral training included a fellowship program in reconstructive spinal surgery, completed at University of Florida.When hes not treating patients, Dr. Boone enjoys hiking, exploring the outdoors and trying new restaurants.
