On a warm summer's evening. On a train bound for nowhere. Oh wait, that's not right. Kilgore Books and Comics was launched June 1, 2008 in the Cap Hill area of Denver by Luke Janes and Dan Stafford, two life long book and comic nerds. We love books, we love comics, and we love people who love books and comics.

Aggressive owner and does not know the community. I have going there for years. Boxes were set up a block away and I started to look when the owner began to bark at me just for looking. Thanks John

I will forevermore seek out Kilgore Books when I pass through Denver. They have every work of great literature I look for and don't find at other bookstores- independent and big box alike....
