Golden Gun Club was originally founded as the Coors Gun Club in 1947, with a range facility off of Highway 93 in Golden. The name of the club was changed to Golden Gun Club in 1974. Due to urban growth, we moved to our present facility in 1996. Our current facility of 160 acres presents 10 trap ranges ( with six skeet fields ), and a rifle/pistol range of over 75 firing points from 50 feet out to 500 yards. Shooting disciplines and programs include: Trap, and Skeet, Service Rifle, Smallbore (.22 caliber ) Rifle/Junior, Muzzleloading Black Powder, Black Powder Cartridge Silhouette, Cowboy Silhouette, along with casual shooting.
