Community Partnership for Child Development is a full-service child care center. CPCD provides early childhood education and family development programs for young children and families in El Paso County, Colo. The center has been operational for more than 20 years. Funded by the Catholic Charities, it serves more than 2,000 children, pregnant women and infants annually. Community Partnership for Child Development offers a wide variety of programs, such as head start, Colorado preschool and early childhood development programs. The center also provides individualized services, skill development, medical, dental, and mental health facilities, nutrition counseling, and transportation services. Additionally, it offers mentoring, community and site-based programs. CPCD s summer camping sessions and activities include hiking, swimming, ropes courses, environmental education, rock climbing, nature exploration, campsite cooking, canoeing, fishing, and evening group activities. The center is located in Colorado Springs, Colo.
