History
The Colorado Taekwondo Institute began October 1, 1983, as the Western Moo Sul Kwan Martial Arts Institute. Schools and programs were established in cities in Northwestern Colorado. Tournament competitions began in 1984, along with countless demonstrations and community events which helped establish the MSK program as the educational leader. In 1991, Grandmaster Sautel moved to the Denver area and opened the Green Mountain Campus in Lakewood, Colorado. Other campus locations were opened over the years beginning with the Littleton Campus and followed by the Westminster, Golden and Conifer Campuses.
Specialties
At the Colorado Taekwondo Institute, students discover the rewards of goal setting behaviors as they advance from belt to belt. These goals allow the students to set small achievable steps as they experience success. Our passion at the CTI is to develop students who will become dynamic black belts. We also develop our students' and instructors' leadership and teaching skills, enabling all of us to make meaningful contributions to the family, school and community levels.
