History
In January of 1979, Gene Oliver, an airline pilot, his wife Marjorie, a nurse, with their son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Cindy, purchased Brynwood, fulfilling their dreams to live in the mountains and own their own business. In April they moved from Utah with 5 children ages 1 to 20. Gene was still a captain on Western Airlines, and during his days off enjoyed decorating the cottages with his family. His favorite was the 11th Aero Squadron, which displays many keepsake photographs and documents of aviation history, including a mantle picture of him dressed in WWI uniform. Gene passed away in 1985 and Gary and Cindy took over, Marge took on another venture with other family members. Now the third generation Olivers are helping with the
