Boulder Reservoir is a recreational and water storage facility that is spread over an area of more than 650 acres. The facility provides drinking and irrigation water and is operated by the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District. Boulder Reservoir offers several recreational opportunities, such as boating, swimming, sunbathing, water skiing, fishing, picnicking, walking, running, cycling and wildlife viewing. The facility features a swim beach, restrooms, showers, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits and over 10 picnic sites. Boulder Reservoir also provides boats on a rental basis. The facility provides space for organizing family reunions and parties, as well as picnic event packages. Boulder Reservoir is owned and managed by the City of Boulder in Colorado.
