History
On May 21, 1940, in the Drake Hotel, in Chicago, the National Association of Real Estate Boards elected to membership the Boulder Real Estate Exchange. (BREE had initially been admitted to NARED in 1919, but had resigned in 1931 following the stock market crash of 1929.) 1943 - BREE changed it's name to the Boulder Board of REALTORS (BBR). 1985 - BBR changed it's name to the Boulder Area Board of REALTORS (BABR). 1999 - BABR changed it's name to the Boulder Area REALTOR Association (BARA).
