Established in 1958, Bandimere Speedway is a full-time racing facility that hosts a variety of drag racing and related events. The facility hosts various racing events, including the NHRA Powerade Mopar Mile-High Nationals, Pepsi All American High School Drags, MagnaFuel Super Series, Best of Detroit Footbrake Nationals, Big O Tires Street Tuner Mayhem and Gold Nugget Challenge. It has a seating capacity of more than 20,000 spectators. The facility organizes several car shows, as well as picnics, business meetings, birthday parties, wedding ceremonies, fund raisers, anniversaries and press conferences.
