History
5280 Cryo & Recovery Clinic opened its doors to patients, as Cherry Creek Spine and Sport, in 2007. The clinic was the first to integrate Whole Body Cryotherapy into their sports injury rehabilitation techniques in the state of Colorado in 2012. Which led to professional athletes such as in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, UFC, and PGA discovering whole body cryotherapy as an essential recovery tool, working with our doctor's to speed up their recovery and increase their performance. In 2016, Cherry Creek Spine and Sport opened 2 more locations in Denver Tech Center and Fort Collins, thus changing its name to 5280 Cryo & Recovery Clinic.
Specialties
For years we have treated soft-tissue and sports related injuries from the same old model, reach for the ibuprofen bottle, put an ice pack on the injured area, and avoid the activity that produces pain. These methods can be helpful in the short-term, but often fails to resolve the underlying cause of the condition. We are a functional health clinic with a focus on improving not just your current medical condition but helping you improve your overall physical performance. 5280 Cryo & Recovery Clinic treats a variety of soft tissue and sports injury conditions from a common sense approach. Instead of simply just focusing on pain management, we offer treatments that help restore the normal functional ability for the body to move, bend, and twist as nature intended. Our intention is to fix your injury, educate on the cause, and instruct on how to prevent re-injury with specific rehab exercises, stretches, and lifestyle modifications. A few of the conditions we treat are sprains and strains of the lumbar region, lumbar disc herniations, sprains and strains of the thoracic region, myofascial disorder, chronic muscle spasms, cervical disc herniation injury, migraines, hamstring and quadricep injuries, SI joint pain, patella tendonitis, ligament tears, plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis, ankle sprains, shoulder tendonitis and bursitis, shoulder impingements, labrum injuries, golfer's elbow, tennis elbow, vascular entrapment, and much more!
