J. Joseph Hewett, M.D.
Dr. J. Joseph Hewett, a graduate of the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine, is an expert in interventional medicine. He completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center and a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Hewett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Arizona, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was class valedictorian. He has extensive experience in minimally invasive surgery, including peripheral arterial interventions, venous insufficiency treatments, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, radiofrequency ablation, chemoembolization, radioembolization, uterine artery embolization, vascular salvage for dialysis access, venous access, and spine stimulator implantation. Dr. Hewett founded Pedes Orange County and actively applies his comprehensive expertise to provide exceptional care in the vascular specialty.
