History
Founded in 1879, the YMCA of the East Bay serves East Bay communities through childcare, fitness, camping services, youth programs and more. We have nine branch locations through out Dublin, Fremont, Hayward, Oakland and Richmond. We have two residential camps offering an array of services, 46 childcare centers and an award-winning outdoor environmental education center. Branches of the YMCA hold special events year round including our Annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner, Martin Luther King Day, and Healthy Kids Day.
