HistoryThe story of Stonebelt Cabinets begins in 1991, when Leonid Jochai immigrated to the United States to escape the turmoil in the Republic of Georgia and the region as whole. Starting his entire life from scratch was daunting to say the least but he worked tirelessly to survive and to obtain permission for his family to enter the United States as political refugees fleeing from war. Before too long he found a way to put his expertise to work. After five years of managing a custom cabinetry facility in Los Angeles, Leonid purchased a few used machines and started creating custom woodwork as a sole proprietor. Twelve years of amazing craftsmanship and hundreds of elated customers later, Leonid partnered with his son Alex to create a company that defies the norm to bring unmatched customer service at each step.
