The Woman's Improvement Club of Corona, located in Corona, Calif., is an organization designed to promote friendliness and the general welfare of the community, further the education of women and participate in civic and social projects within the community. The organization gives out more than $6,000 in local scholarships each year and donates to the local Peppermint Ridge Home, which is a home for individuals with disabilities. It also donates to the Settlement House, which gives out food, clothes and shelter for the needy. Its clubhouse, built in 1913, was selected for the national Registry of Historical Places in 1989. It also is one of the few buildings in Corona that can be rented for private parties, weddings, receptions, reunions and other events. The Woman's Improvement Club of Corona was organized in 1899 and incorporated in 1910.
