William Land Park is a large public park maintained by the City of Sacramento Department of Parks and Recreation. The historical William Land Park was established in 1875. It contains the Sacramento Zoo, the William Land Golf Course, Fairytale Town, which offers fairytale themed playground facilities, and Funderland, which features carnival rides for children. It also includes picnic areas, walking paths, gardens and lakes, athletic fields, outdoor theaters, jogging paths, restrooms and more. It is located between Interstate 5 and State Route 160.
