The Western Clinicians Network (WCN) is a professional association of clinical leaders in the Western States, dedicated to promoting integrated and quality healthcare for all community residents, particularly the underserved. WCN achieves this by enhancing the skills and capabilities of safety-net clinical leaders in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) through coaching services, annual conferences, and recognition of clinical excellence.
Established in 1993, WCN facilitates training and technical assistance for medical directors and other clinical leaders in FQHCs across Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, and the Pacific Islands Region IX. As a peer-led volunteer organization, WCN aims to foster innovation and transform care delivery, ultimately improving the health outcomes of individuals and communities in the region.
