History
The Union for Reform Judaism has offered Intro classes in major metropolitan areas for over 30 years. Students who have completed the program are raising Jewish children and participate in Jewish life in their communities and at home. And some have chosen to be Jewish educators and rabbis! The Reform movement is the largest Jewish movement in North America and represents an estimated 1.5 million Jews. There are more than 900 Reform congregations in the United States, Canada, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
