History
Giselle Ampuero (founder) and Rosy Reyes are the educators at Urban Schoolhouse, and are committed to embracing their community in a kind, nurturing and respectful partnership. Together they have more than 18 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. They have worked with children ranging from infancy through preteen in a variety of settings. Giselle has completed her graduate degree in the field of Arts & Education, and received her Primary Montessori Teacher Training Certificate. Rosy has completed her graduate degree in Pediatric Nursing, and is passionate about continuing her work with children in an educational setting. They are both native Spanish speakers, and hope to create a bilingual classroom environment. Through their education and experience, they have consciously chosen to create a nurturing educational community that brings together the educational resources of a school and the sense of family and home. They both continue to experience the joy of learning!
