UCLA UniCamp is an independently funded non-profit organization that has been serving the Los Angeles community since 1928. Through its annual residential outdoor summer camp, UniCamp brings together over 1,200 urban LA youth and 500 UCLA student volunteers, providing them with opportunities to lead, play, and learn. With a continuum of care approach, UniCamp aims to empower underserved children to become campers, campers to become volunteers, and volunteers to become community leaders.
UniCamp offers a range of programs, including the Classic UniCamp for campers aged 10-14, where they can enjoy traditional camp activities and engage in social initiatives with partnering nonprofits. For older campers aged 15-17, specialty camps are available to challenge them and develop their leadership skills. With a rich history of serving over 60,000 youth and 10,000 volunteers, UCLA UniCamp continues to inspire brighter futures and contribute to the successful development of underserved kids in the LA area.
