HistoryMaster Tommy Young opened his school at the Boys and Girls club in East Oakland In 1986. A 6th degree black belt, Master Young has produced hundreds of award winning and nationally recognized Black Belts. Master Young has been teaching adults and youth the art and discipline of Tae Kwon Do for more than 30 years. Currently the school is operated in part by Chief Instructor Strong (3rd Dan), and Master Paulisich (6th Dan), Both who have been with Master young for 15 years plus.SpecialtiesSuperior Martial Arts focuses on ITF Tae Kwon Do, emphasizing self defense. At our school we encourage students and all who enter to practice constant and never ending improvement. Our purpose is to develop students physically, mentally, spiritually, and with good character.
