The Way Back San Diego is a 24-bed residential alcohol and drug treatment program for men, offering a multifaceted program designed to help individuals achieve and sustain long-term healing from substance use and co-occurring disorders. Through cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and narrative therapy, men are equipped with the necessary tools to overcome challenges, develop healthy coping skills, and foster positive behaviors.
With a focus on creating a therapeutic partnership and a supportive community, The Way Back provides a safe and understanding environment where individuals can embark on their journey towards recovery alongside peers who can relate to their experiences. Funded by the County of San Diego and Medi-Cal, this program aims to guide men in finding their way back to their authentic selves and building a strength-based identity for a brighter future.
