The Rug Colorist was founded in 2015, out of a carpet cleaning company, after seeing a gap in the market for competent and expert color restoration in carpets and rugs. We specialize in carpet dyeing and repair, Oriental and Persian rug color restoration, bleach repair, pet damage and stains. We have trained with Chris Howell (Colorful Carpets) and Ron Toney (Master Dyer) and other experts in the industry, to offer our clients the best services available in carpet restoration in the Bay Area.

We are the specialty rug restoration division of DyeBold Carpet Dyeing, specializing 100% in Color Restoration of Rugs including Bleach Spot Repair, Rug Overdyeing, Faded Color Restoration and Persian/Oriental Rug Color Repair. We service California, all of Florida and other areas by request. Our dyes are Non-Toxic and Colorfast! Save up to 80% of the cost of carpet replacement.
