This small taqueria, cafe, deli and general store near the beach is a popular stop for surfers and locals. The exterior features a large mural of the ocean. Loyal customers go to Elizabeth's for the breakfast burritos, and the Eggs Benedict are great. For lunch, try the tacos, a tuna melt, quesadillas or soup. Hot coffee and tea, including yerba matte, is served starting at 7am.
The cafe/store is in a building from the 1930s. It sells ice cream, beer and cigarettes, and is covered floor-to-ceiling with local articles about surfing. It has five indoor tables and two outside benches. Although the place has been named Elizabeth's for about a decade, it has undergone a number of management transitions.
