One of the few accredited music schools in Mountain View, the Gorin School of Music is located on East El Camino Real, in the Olive Tree Shopping Center. The facility has around 15 teachers, all with Master's degrees or higher in their respective instrument, who teach piano, violin, flute, clarinet, saxophone, cello and voice lessons. The school is designed for students of all ages, from children as young as 3 years old who want to learn in a fun, interactive environment to adults of any level. Potential students are welcome to call in for a personal consultation with the founder of the school, Rufina Gorin, to discuss goals and assess lessons that are right for you or your child. The school is recommended for anyone looking to play an instrument at a more advanced level, or someone who is just looking for a new hobby. Recitals are open to the public three times a year and the students may expect to get personal evaluations 3 times each year. The classes have semester systems and students can pay for their competitively priced tuition on a month-to-month basis.
