This is the Beverly Hills office for the Extras Casting Guild, an artist's casting agency. When a film is set to go into production, one of the first steps is to cast the characters from the script with an actual actor/actress. For non-speaking roles, or for when a film requires a large crowd scene, these actors are called extras. The casting agent filters the applicants to present to the director and producer. The agency works with the studios, casting agents and actors to make sure all laws and union wages are being paid correctly. It represents artist such as actors, singers and dancers.
