History
The Arc of San Francisco was founded in 1951 by a small group of parents who were concerned about the lack of services for their children with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy & other developmental disabilities. Since then, we've become a primary resource for people with disabilities in San Francisco and San Mateo counties, serving over 500 clients every day. Our goal is to provide the services and supports that empower our clients to make the most of their abilities; learning new skills, holding productive jobs, and living ordinary lives with dignity and pride in our community.
Specialties
