Tarpan Studios is a recording studio based in San Rafael. It is open to the select public, and gold and platinum albums by artists such as Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Steve Winwood, Kenny G and The Temptations have been produced and engineered here. The name Tarpan means "satisfaction unparalled." Tarpan Studios features a large live room with isolation booths along with a control room.
