The Tamalpais Conservation Club was started in 1912 with the mission of preserving the jewel of Marin, Mount Tamalpais, for generations to come. Their focus is to help acquire open space for preservation.
This nonprofit organization accepts donations of time and money to keep their mission going. They have over 800 members who contribute to the preservation of Mount Tamalpais. There is an online donation function on their website.
They also have a volunteer team that restores trails on Mount Tam. They operate in an office behind Cabana Home on East Blithedale Avenue in Mill Valley.
