The Process Therapy Institute is where my office is located. What is the Process Therapy Institute? About us: We are a non-profit, non-discriminatory, and charitable organization. We are incorporated as an educational institution and have been providing educational and counseling services to the community since 1972. We are a designated United Way agency. Our mission statement: We provide opportunities for people to enhance their awareness of their relationships to self and others through counseling, psychotherapy, groups, personal and professional development classes, workshops and training. What we do: We offer individual, child, couple, family, and group counseling to the public, as well as classes, workshops and lectures on a variety of topics. We are also a training Institute for licensed and pre-licensed psychotherapists. We provide practicums, internships, trainings, and continuing education classes to mental health professionals and educators.
Specialties
I've been working for numerous years with issues related to miscarriage, adoption, and infertility. I specialize in child therapy and family issues. I have taught in the Child Development departments at both the UC and community college levels. Life is a journey. One chapter followed by another. Childhood to maturity, youth to age. Experiences along the way are stored in our memories. I provide a safe place where you can develop new skills that enable you to revisit memories as you ford the rivers of life. Students, parents, and clients describe me as empathetic and knowledgable with an open heart.
