HistoryI was living in Southern California and working at a Marina detailing boats from '98-'02. I got a call from a close family member who offered me the opportunity to help them start a detailing business. I didn't hesitate. I moved to San Luis Obispo in '02 and we started West Coast Detailing shortly after. We began to grow in no time. Producing a good product and word of mouth will always lead to success. At first we focused on just mobile, as that was the easiest method to start. The need for a shop came up eventually. We progressively expanded our shop size throughout the years and the mobile part stayed steady. After so many years in business, we decided to cease the mobile detailing and focus on the shop.
