Founded in 2007, Summit High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school provides classes in English, math, science, social studies, and health and physical education. Its curriculum also includes computer studies, economics and digital technology. Summit High School features a gymnasium, library, and science and computer labs. The school is governed by the Desert Sands Unified School District, which operates more than 30 elementary, middle and high schools. The district s schools offer various athletic activities, such as golf, soccer, basketball, baseball, football, cross-country, tennis, swimming, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field. Its schools provide membership options for writing, drama, fashion, hiking, poetry and mock trial clubs.
