Steinberg Architects, founded in 1953 and based in San Jose, Calif., is an architectural firm with more than 100 employees and offices throughout California. Previously known as The Steinberg Group, the firm became Steinberg Architects in 2003. The firm employs more than 50 architects in San Jose and less than 50 in its Los Angeles office. Past projects completed by Steinberg Architects include contracts for Crafton Hills Community College in Yucaipa, Calif., and the Campus for Jewish Life in Palo Alto, Calif. One of the larger Steinberg Architects projects was a $345 million contract for the design of the San Jose City Hall.
