The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection Station 15 is located at the edge of the Livermore boundary and next to Santa Clara County. It is responsible for responding to forest fires in the surrounding areas bordered by California State Route 130 and Interstate 5. The station also responds to calls down toward Interstate 152 or the Pacheco Pass Highway. The station is staffed by four firefighters. It also has a Type 3 Wildland engine.
