Stable Hands is a PATH Premier accredited program in Yreka, CA, dedicated to providing therapeutic horsemanship to children and adults living with disabilities in Siskiyou County. Through their two 8-week sessions in the Spring and Fall, and one 6-week session in the Summer, Stable Hands empowers individuals to overcome physical, mental, and emotional challenges.
In addition to their therapeutic horsemanship program, Stable Hands also offers the Horses Helping Heroes program, specifically designed for veterans. With three 8-week sessions, this program serves 30-40 individuals in small group lessons, supported by a team of dedicated volunteers. Through the generosity of individuals, businesses, service groups, and foundations, Stable Hands raises funds to support the majority of their program costs.
