Father Robert Essig, the founding Pastor, invited the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose to staff the school. In 1963, the new church was completed and the old church was renovated to accommodate the increasing school enrollment. Over the years, the school has continued to grow with a current enrollment of over 600 students.
