The church began with mass celebrated in a private home. In 1921 the first building was purchased. The current campus was bought in 1952 and the building was consecrated in 1959 as parishioners, in solemn procession, moved into the new Saint Charles Borromeo Church. Father Bob Gallagher was assigned here in January, 2000. The choir director has been with the church for more than 50 years.
Saint Charles Borromeo School's mission is "to prepare our students to become committed Catholics and academically prepared individuals who become life long learners."
The Saint Charles Borromeo Center across the street operated by volunteers provides eligible clients with free food, clothing, toiletries, books, toys, furniture, and other household items. Pregnant women are provided layettes and other available infant care items.
