St. Bede's has a wide array of networks both in its immediate community and further. This church collaborates with many other churches and organizations to dabble in musical performances, environmental service and education from youth to adults, as well as hospital and jail ministries. The church also participates in community organizing around housing, food and clothing for those in need, international aid, and of course the usual church activities of worship. In addition to providing a place for spiritual development, the church has become a hub for community services and networking.
St. Bede's has a fairly large congregation of a few hundred and has been around for more than 50 years. It has a blog that keeps everyone updated on the service and social justice that St. Bede's community provides. Its members are active, and its priests and philosophies are modern and inclusive.
St. Bede's also has been home to Trinity School since 1961. It serves children in pre-school through fifth grade. The school has classrooms, a multi-use room, dining and activity areas, a library, playground, basketball courts, garden and a sports field.
St. Bede was an English monk who was a author, scholar and teacher in the eighth century A.D. His extensive works earned him the title, "The Father of English History."
