HistoryDr. Ken Anderson, board certified in family medicine and sports medicine, has served the community for over 20 years. He opened Anderson Medical Center in Pacific Beach in 2011, offering urgent care, primary care, and sports medicine services. In October 2017, his practice merged with San Diego Sports Medicine & Family Health Center (SDSM), which was opened in 1980. Emily Allina worked for Anderson Medical Center before the merger, and she continues to work at SDSM at the Urgent Care office in Pacific Beach.SpecialtiesThe purpose of San Diego Sports Medicine & Family Health Center (SDSM) is, and has always been, to consistently, expertly, and compassionately provide optimal medical care to families, athletes of all levels, and professionals to allow them to live healthy, happy, and purposeful lives. Our unique urgent care center in Pacific Beach offers on-site digital x-ray and lab tests for accidents and work-related injuries.
