The James J. McBride Special Education Center is an LAUSD public school that caters to students with disabilities between the ages of 3 and 22.
Each educational program is designed and adapted to each individual student, offering everything from building self-help skills to development and vocational training.
California Children Services (CCS) therapists provide physical and occupational therapy for eligible students, and local elementary school students in the area join with McBride's students for educational and recreational activities as part of an ongoing interaction program.
