Glendale Public Works
The City of Glendale-Public Works Department provides various community-oriented services to citizens, schools, businesses and visitors. It operates administration, environmental, engineering, public utilities and mechanical maintenance divisions. The department repairs streets, flushes hydrants, replaces street signs, repairs water main breaks and plows snow. The City of Glendale-Public Works Department also handles issues related to existing street, sidewalk, and stormwater infrastructure. Its mechanical maintenance and warehouse division manages and maintains more than 450 equipment that are also utilized by the parks, recreation and community services, library, and community development and housing departments.
